Integral catalogue number 28 sees four future producers come together for a top shelf release packed with diversity and flavour; showcasing the industry’s finest nu-skool drum & bass talent.

We welcome Pennygiles to the camp for his debut 12 for the label, alongside studio pals Phil Tangent, Sevin and Ed.it.

Opening the release in style, Pennygiles and Sevin team up with a massive soulful summer anthem titled “I’m Sorry”. Dancefloor magic at liquid funk’s finest; this huge musical groove filters epic musicality through strings, horns and comes complete with big classic vocal.

After Phil Tangent’s recent and much acclaimed EP for Integral, the beautiful “Lyra” sees a sublime follow up; the duo
explores euphoric vibes digging deep. With an ethereal soundscape and elusive reece bassline, this musical tour de force also features a haunting vocal that captures and draws you closer.

Wrapping up this incredible release, Ed.it and Pennygiles come together for the wickedly funk-fuelled “Know A Lie”. This is current dancefloor business jamming with attitude; with a nu-skool twist on the techy sound bringing that extra special edge. A stomping head-nodder destined to keep you moving and shaking ‘til dawn.

I love this entire release, it shows FD’s range and appreciation of the depth and breadth of drum and bass styles out there — hard to pick a favorite because it’s like apples and oranges. Really dig “This is Not Science”, but since I am a Sun and Bass veteran, and we were supposed to be there reveling this week, “The Feeling” is my favorite because it immediately transports me right back to La Cinta.
